As I wrote previously, I am part of Covad’s Blogger Relations program and am getting a T1 installed at my house. A few weeks ago, the circuit was installed by Qwest. A new telephone box is now attached to the backside of my house, waiting for the Covad folks to come hook it up. A couple weeks ago, I received a Cisco T1 router that is currently sitting in the box on one of my work tables.
Earlier this week, I got the automated call from Covad reminding me they would come out and hook up the circuit on Monday morning. I’m looking forward to getting this thing in and putting it through its paces. Ken Camp, who has had his Covad T1 for at least a couple of weeks, did some baseline performance testing. It’s something I want to do as well.
