I realize I’m a little late to this party, but I just gave Gizmo Project’s new 611 service a shot. For what it is, it’s not bad.
By dialing 611 from your Gizmo Project client or other device you have configured with the Gizmo Project SIP credentials, you can do a number of useful tasks:
- Check your CallOut balance
- Buy more CallOut minutes
- Set up and/or listen to your voice mail
- Enable call forwarding/call hunting
- Find out the answer to the age-old question “Why did the chicken cross the road?”
Random callers to the 611 service will be given their share of $10,000 in the form of $10 of CallOut credits. It’s Michael Robertson’s way of saying “thanks for trying out my new feature on Gizmo Project.”
