Hi, I’m Dameon D. Welch-Abernathy, a.k.a. “PhoneBoy.”
The current version of my day job is technical writing for one of the Product Line Support groups inside of the Enterprise Solutions division at Nokia. I’ve written two books on Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1. On my blog, I write on the subjects of VoIP, Telecom, and Technology. Occasionally, I’ll talk about something Nokia does, though that’s obviously not the intent of this blog.
My primary goal in my writing is to make sense of these and other complex topics. I have a wife and two beautiful children, whom keep me grounded and focused on the important things in life, even if I geek out a lot in writing!
